For the first time since I have owned an Amiga computer (you can read this as years in the making), the fix for an issue I was having was straight forward and quick! Starting about a year ago, I was getting a white screen from time to time; nothing too major, I just needed to reboot the system a few times, sometimes requiring that the system stay on for a minute or two between reboot cycles. However, today the system decided to not load into Kickstart at all after many reboots. The fix was to unseat the Paula chip, spray a little contact cleaner, and re-seat it. It booted into the ROM on the first try.
